Hi, Dr. Rob from Personal Care Chiropractic is back again to answer your questions. This time we are going to talk about auto accidents and what you should do if you been in one.

The number one thing to do is to get checked out. So often I see patients come in who have been in an auto accident a year before, but they didn't have any treatment following it. Now all of a sudden, a year later, they're having neck pain, back pain, or headaches.

Even you did go to the ER, you should still consider getting evaluated by a chiropractor.

This is because a chiropractor is interested in the soft tissue damage and the alignment issues that happens when you've been in an auto accident. It only takes a collision of five miles an hour to create soft tissue damage, like spraining your ankle. If you don't take care of that, you develop scar tissue, and you can develop chronic symptoms.

So don't wait. If you've been in an accident, get checked out. The healing process can start right away.

Whether you need to see an M.D., anesthesiologist, chiropractor, or nurse practitioner, they’ve got you covered. These providers don’t just…
