TESTIMONIALS

I suffered from headaches for years. I have tried all types of treatment, including other chiropractors. A co-worker see’s Dr. Thiry and recommended I give him a shot. I’m not sure what he did different, but was headache free after 2 weeks of treatment, and have done well since. If I start to get a headache I go see Dr. Thiry and Its gone by the end of his treatment.

About one to two times a week I would get headaches that I thought were normal. I went to see Dr. Rob for a different issue but his exam is so detailed he asked me If I ever got headaches. I told him just the normal headaches. He explained there was no such thing as a normal headache. I haven’t had a headache since starting treatment.

Headaches- More than 45 million Americans experience chronic headaches and approximately 28 million suffer from migraines. These headaches may range from a minor annoyance to debilitating pain. Some people experience headaches occasionally while others battle headaches on a daily basis. Most headaches can be relieved with the proper treatment. The two most common headaches are muscle tension and migraine.

Dr. Thiry has years of experience successfully treating patients with headaches. Many of our patients had tried other methods of treatment without success. Dr. Thiry has provided relief from migraines and relief to those suffering from what they thought were normal headaches.

1. MUSCLE TENSION HEADACHES- are the most common headaches experienced. These headaches are usually the result of irritated muscles in the upper back and neck. Common causes of irritation include stress, poor posture, poor work space or computer station set up, and trauma including falls or accidents. When the muscles become irritated they tighten and pull at the attachment point at the base of the head resulting in a headache.

Symptoms- may include neck pain, stiffness, pain and tenderness in the back of the head, pain in the front of the head, pounding in the head. Some symptoms may be aggravated by sound or light. Head position may also affect the headache.

Treatment- may include chiropractic adjustments, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, neck traction, ice or heat therapy, as well as stretching and strengthening exercises.

The Benefits of having the proper care is faster pain relief, expedited reduction of other symptoms and a reduced risk of chronic symptoms lasting a lifetime.

2. MIGRAINE HEADACHES- May be caused by a number of factors including but not limited to vascular, hormonal, allergic, diet, neurologic or muscular abnormalities. Determining the root cause of the migraine is necessary to determine the appropriate course of treatment which may include medication. Historically Many people have been misdiagnosed with migraine headaches and are receiving the wrong treatment or medication.
